Alternative Assessments Techniques for State Level and Classroom Level Objectives
Saturday, October 20, 2007 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Presenters will demonstrate technology that has been used to administer the alternative state level assessments to students in Texas public schools. These students, ranging from mild to severe disabilities, although exempted from the state level general education assessment, must be assessed at their ability level in Texas. Educational objectives, their corresponding state level general education goal and the activity developed for said objective will all be addressed. Assessment activities taken from Test Me Score Me, News-2 You, Boardmaker v6, Clicker 5, and IntelliTools Classroom Suite will be demonstrated. Alternative access methods will be explored with these activities as well.
